TTM901390 Toob Trax for Boomwhackers – KS2

Toob Trax is a simple, fun & engaging way to teach pitch & rhythm using the BWDG 8-note Boomwhacker set.

Requiring no music reading on the part of the teacher, there are five original pieces that are taught from the DVD. Put it into your computer or whiteboard and off you go!

Each piece is broken down into sections:
Warm up, concentrating rhythm or pitch
Step by step learning of the piece
Play through the whole piece with instruments
Ideas on how to improve the performance

and each piece is ‘taught’ by an experienced workshop leader who keeps the children engaged, using vocal and clapping rhythms, together with backing tracks, to teach the different elements of each piece.

Once a piece has been learned it can be performed with the backing track on the CD – they have been recorded at different speeds to help with practice.
