The Meinl Spin Spark Shaker is attached to a screw-mounted disc that adjusts and amplifies the sound. When the disc is tight, the pitch is highest, and it deepens as the disc is loosened. Opening and closing the hollow base of the disc against the hand also produces interesting effects. Made from steel mesh with steel balls inside.
