The Shining, Signing Star is a musical nativity play for children using English & sign language.

This exciting, innovative show uses both spoken English and signs taken directly from British Sign Language to produce a story of the nativity in rhyme from the perspective of the animals and the stars who were at the very first Christmas. It’s an inclusive show that is accessible to children of differing abilities and interests.

Songs and music have been specially written for the production by the Ivor Novello award winning composer, Paul K. Joyce, writer of the number one single, Can We Fix It, theme tune of the hit children’s television series, Bob the Builder.

It comes as a complete performance pack suitable for children of all ages with over 100 signs shown in very clear pictures – you can use as many or as few as you wish to suit your production.
