1450425 Christmas Celebration – KS 1 & 2

This is the story of Elias who really wants to follow the star with the Three Wise Men to find the new Child King, but he gets so caught up with finding fancy clothes and perfect presents that he doesn’t leave with the others and ends up missing the first Christmas.

This is a Christmas play with a difference in that the characters mime their parts whilst a reader narrates the story, giving the children freedom to use their imaginations and meaning KS1 can be involved alongside KS2 children. The lively performance also includes readings, catchy songs and hymns based around the Nativity Story, so the audience can join in with the children in celebrating the wonder of Christmas.
